Chuck Miller
President / CEO

Chuck Miller grew up in a small town in South Carolina. His father was a police officer and mother owned her own trucking company. Chuck dropped out of high school in the 9th grade and learned the trucking business from his mother. Chuck had an entrepreneurial spirit from a young age. He started his first entrepreneurial venture in the 1980’s in Atlanta GA and has been on a roll ever since. He started his first company in Jacksonville 27 years ago after moving from Atlanta. That company evolved into United Transport Services of Jax. In 2018 he cofounded ArdentX as his newest venture with Son Connor Miller.

Chuck is very passionate about giving back to the community so in 2021 he founded the CEM Foundation as his charitable efforts. The CEM foundation will help supply local organizations with the tools they need for kids to play sports and participate in extra curricular activities. Chuck believes anything can be accomplished with the proper dedication and work ethic.

“I will never forget the day my Son Connor walked into my office and said ‘you’re just one of those crazy guys that gets punched in the face spits out a tooth and says what’s next?’ This is a perfect description of my outlook on entrepreneurship. It’s about getting punched in the face and knocked down thousands of times only to stand back up and PREVAIL. Building a massive company has always been a dream of mine, but giving opportunities to those without opportunities is an even bigger passion for me. This company has been my life’s work and this foundation will help so many people.”
